We would like to tell you, our guests, about our upper terrace section of Nar Cave House, which dates back thousands of years and is still designed by us as a wine cellar and seating area.
Our room is an area that has been used for thousands of years according to ancient needs. There are two fire pits in the middle of this area. There is a smoke chimney at the top of the fire pit in the front, close to the door. However, there is no smoke chimney above the fire pit at the back.
What do you think is the reason for this? Why did ancient people without chimneys build fire pits without chimneys?
Because while they lit a fire and met their needs for food etc. in the fire pit with a chimney on one side, on the other side, they put the embers they took from there into the other fire pit without a chimney, put a flat stone on top of it, and plastered it with mud and mud, so that they could lie down in a warm place to sleep. Thus, people who lived thousands of years ago perhaps He discovered and installed the first underfloor heating system. This shows that the ancient people living in the region used more advanced technology for their time than those living in other worlds.
