OCTOBER IN CAPPADOCIA
At the beginning of winter and at the end of summer in Cappadocia, while people continue their winter preparations, a riot of colors begins in nature. While nature was giving less daytime temperatures from the summer, yellowing and drying leaves began to appear in the fairy chimneys. Nature, which has shrunk and dried up like people living their last lives, is now in a state of rest for rebirth. Nature, which gives its fruits and products, gave people its products for winter food and made an effort to help people survive the winter. People are in a rush to collect these products and prepare their winter pastes, molasses and dried fruits. It has become impossible not to come across a burning fire pit in front of the houses of people preparing their winter food. Everywhere is filled with fragrant winter food. Delicious foods, which derive their taste from the mystical nature of Cappadocia, seem to have fulfilled their duty to feed the human being, the essence of their creation, this year. Tourists who come to see this beautiful environment of Cappadocia also provide a visual feast to our region.
