NEW WORK OF ART WE ADDED TO OUR HOTEL
Our reproduction artwork made by our regional artists Fatih Çankaya and Mehmet Sait Obay will be placed in our hotel. The works, which have been going on for about 2 months, are coming to an end, and our hotel, which knows the value of art and artists, wants to appeal to the eyes and hearts of our guests with art. Our hotel management, which wants to exhibit the Cappadocia life in every aspect and takes you to the medieval life, wants to offer you the real medieval life with the decisions it makes. Since it is an accepted and known fact by historians that Cappadocia was the center of science and art in prehistory, our Nar Cave House management, which is struggling to regain the value it deserves in Cappadocia, aims to present the best examples of art and handicraft to our valued guests with the radical decisions it has taken on this issue. He knew his duty. In prehistory, Cappadocia led the spread of Christianity worldwide with its monasteries and educational centers. Our region has trained many prehistoric artists and we will serve you with reproductions of these artists in the future. At the same time, our management aims to open an art gallery in our hotel, and while every part of Cappadocia is a museum, it wants to add this museum feature to its structure by adding art.
The first reproduction made in our hotel is a work of art; Its first artist is Artemisia Gentileschi. About Baldassare Franceschini, whose Second Artist revised the painting by covering it. The name of the painting is Allegory of Inclination (Turkish name: Tendency Allegory). Artemisia Gentileschi is an Italian Baroque Painter. Despite the male dominance of the period, she was a woman who was able to prove herself by glorifying her talent with her education. She was born in Rome in 1593, the daughter of the painter Orazio Gentileschi. She is also the first woman to be accepted to the Accedemia del Disegno academy in 1616. Contrary to the portrayal of a submissive woman, she aimed to portray a strong woman who expresses her thoughts and decisions, and she succeeded in this. The Allegory of Tendency painting represents the nude female figure representing innate creative ability. The figure sits on clouds and holds a compass and is guided by the star of the Magi in the upper right of the painting. The original location of the painting is an oil on canvas painting on the Ceiling of the Galleria in Casa Buonarotti in Florence.
Another depiction and replica are revisited and interpreted by local artists Fatih Çankaya and Mehmet Sait Obay. Nar Cave House, which is the first boutique hotel in Nar Town, one of the unique settlements of Cappadocia geography, is waiting to come to life and come into being again.
