The name of the painting is Allegory of Inclination (Turkish name: Tendency Allegory). Artemisia Gentileschi is an Italian Baroque Painter. Despite the male dominance of the period, she was a woman who was able to prove herself by glorifying her talent with her education. She was born in Rome in 1593, the daughter of the painter Orazio Gentileschi. She is also the first woman to be accepted to the Accedemia del Disegno academy in 1616.
